We talk with Darold Kelly, Jr., president and CEO of the newly formed Black Cybersecurity Association. As if that weren't enough, he's still a student at the University of the District of Colombia! We talk to Darold about his reasons for starting the BCA, and what he hopes to accomplish with the organization. We were joined on our Zoom call by one of his mentors, Dr. Natalie Maggitt, who explained the role of guidance and mentorship in increasing representation of communities of color in industries like IT and cybersecurity. Learn more about the BCA and get involved on LinkedIn.
