Welcome to the last episode in our series of interviews celebrating Women’s History Month! Today, we have a very special episode. It seemed only fitting to close out the month by handing the mic over to two incredible women in this industry. My friend, Katie Hanahan, takes the mic as guest host, and she is joined by none other than Katie Moussouris, founder and CEO of Luta Security

A lifelong hacker, Katie Moussouris's reputation is legion in cybersecurity. She was the pioneering creator of Microsoft’s bug bounty program, as chronicled in Nicole Perloth’s bestseller, This Is How They Tell Me the World Ends: The Cyber Weapons Arm Race. She helped the Department of Defense create its first bug bounty program, and previously served as Chief Policy Officer at HackerOne.

In this episode, this powerhouse duo touch on:

  • Origins of bug bounty programs
  • Taking a hacker mindset to your career
  • The pay equity gap
  • Increasing reliance on technology that we’re having trouble securing
